When I judged Barbara Hughes’ Disciplines of a Godly Woman at first, I felt it could only be one thing- boring. It belonged to my Mom and had been lying around the house for years. I am in a serious relationship with paperbacks. Though the memory of how we fell in love is a bit hazy now, it may have been the moldy, vintage smell of new books that got me hooked for life.
